2010 WEEKEND RESULTS

The Fish-Off is set:  Congratulation qualifiers!!!

Saturday September 25th out of Little Platte. 

$60 OPTIONAL BIG BASS POT (must be paid by Fri. Sept 24th.  we will not be taking money at the ramp on Sat.) We will be paying seven (7) big bass places.

Shoreline Fiberglass will be providing the meal, which will be catered by Strouds

Smithville Marine Bonus Bucks$$

	First Place:  Tom Alsop & Keith Leftridge caught 4 nice keepers on a tough day of fishing at Smithville Lake.  10 lbs 3 oz was just enough to edge out second place and bring home the big paycheck.  Along with first place money they were fishing out of a SKEETER boat purchased from Smithville Marine.  Skeeter Real Money $500 and $500 Smithville Marine "Bonus Bucks."  A great day for the 2009 point champions.  Thank you to Skeeter Boats and Smithville Marine.
	Second Place & Second Big Bass: Chris Thacker and Bill Barsotti fell just short with their three fish weighing 10 lbs 1.5 oz.  A dandy 5 lb 12 oz anchor fish which was second big of the day.		Third Place:  Mike Payne and partner Paul Boesel had the other 3 fish bag @ 7 lbs 12.5 oz.
	Fourth Place:  Beetle Bailey and partner Harr Carr only caught two fish @ 7 lbs 9 ozs but they were both dandies.		Fifth Place & Big Bass: Kyle Barrett and Craig James caught this full figured female bass @ 6 lbs 1ozs.  Only one fish but what a nice one.
	Sixth Place:  Austin and Ben Goldberg only found one fish but it was a nice one @ 5 lbs 4.5 oz		Seventh Place Tie: Dave Biscari and Sterling Scott caught a 4 lb 6.5 oz which was a tie with Jason Fulton and Russell Fisher (no pic available) who also had a 4 lb 6.5 oz fish.  After a short wrestling match they decided to split the money equally.

	First Place: Jake Catherell and Andy Bissett bested the rest of the field by more than 5 lbs. to win with a five fish limit weighing 18 lbs 5.5 oz.		Second Place:  Bill and Angelo Barsotti showed up at the scales with one of six limits of fish brought in.  13 lbs 4 oz was enough for second and a nice pay day.
	Third Place:  Todd Knaack and Nick Hahlbecks limit of fish weighed 13 lbs 3.5 ozs just one half oz shy of second wasn't a total disappointment because they hauled in an additional $250 Smithville Marine Bonus Bucks because they were fishing out of a boat purchased for Smithville Marine and a $200 + Calcutta because places 1 & 2 chose not to get in.  Congratulations and thank you to Smithville Marine for their support.
	Fourth Place: Jin Nguyen and Joe Dorcy Sr. had a limit of bass weighing 12 lbs 11 oz.		:Fifth Place: Russell and Jason's limit of fish weighed 12 lbs 7 oz.
	Sixth Place:  Jay Michales an Jon Robinette had the smallest limit of fish @ 12 lbs 4 oz which was still a great bag of fish and a nice pay day.		First out of the $$:  Thanks to Kindred Chevrolet of Smithville Wes and Jason both receive a free oil change and car detailing.  Having the largest 4 fish bag of the tournament payed off after all thanks to Kindred Chevrolet.
	Big Bass:  Shane Voyles and partner Jeff Hamilton could only come up with 9 lbs 4 oz of fish, but considering they only had two fish and one of them weighed 6 lbs 8.5 oz and was big bass of the day,  not a bad day at all.		Second Big Bass:  Terry McDowell and partner Dave Peacock could only muster 8 lbs 11oz with two fish but a 6 lb 7.5 oz second big bass bad a tough day a little more tolerable.

	First Place, Smithville Marine Bonus $Bucks$, Stratos 2X money: George Moreland and Bob Kitterman put together a great string of fish to win it all.  10 keepers on the day with the best five weighing in at 15 lbs 10 oz.  They not only won the tournament but received an additional $500 from Smithville Marine for fishing out of a boat purchased from them and Stratos will double the winning for fishing out of a new Stratos 201 Evolution.  Nice paycheck guys.
	Second Place & Big Bass: Jake Catherell and Andy Bissett show up big at weigh-in again with a limit of fish @ 14 lbs 15.5 oz and big bass of the day @ 6 lbs 12 oz.		Third Place: Kyle Alsop and Steve Stroud had a good day with five fish @ 12 lbs 13 oz.  Kyle was especially excited because he kicked dads (Tom Alsop not in $$ today) butt.
	Fourth Place:  Beetle Bailey and Harry Carr with a limit of fish @ 12 lbs 1.5 oz.  Beetle, secretary and treasurer of the team was proud to display the fish for a photo with help from the hand.		Fifth Place: Wayne Berry and Ryan Anderson  with the highest 4 fish weight @ 10 lbs 5.5 oz.
No Photo	Sixth Place:  Kim and Brian Murch caught a limit of fish (not an easy task on Smithville lake) @ 10 lbs 4 oz.		Seventh Place:  Joe Dorcy Jr. and Sr. with 4 fish @ 9 lbs 13 oz and last paycheck of the day.
	Second Big Bass:  Jeff Hamilton and Shane Voyles focused on quality not quantity and brought in second big bass of the day with a nice 6 lb 1 oz fish.

	First Place and Second Big Bass:  Scott Jones and Fred Haenisch grabbed 5 nice keepers @ 14 lbs 6 oz on their way to a first place finish. Their big fish weighed 4 lbs 11 oz and was big enough to take second big bass honors of the day. Not in calcutta!		Second Place:  Shane Voyles with one of his 5 fish limit that weighed 13 lbs 2.5 oz. Not in Calcutta!
	Third Place and Big Bass:  Superstition might keep you out of the calcutta but not from catching big fish.  Jeff Stout and Jim Sloan only caught two keepers on the day but at 10 lbs 10.5 oz and the bigger of the two @ 6 lbs 4 oz a third place and big bass honors.	No Photo	Fourth Place:  First to weigh in and a fourth place finish.  Steve Fogerty and Terry Bright brought in four nice fish @ 9 lbs 13 oz.  Not in Calcutta!
	Fifth Place:  Keith Leftridge and Tom Alsop failed to put that fifth fish in the boat also but four fish @ 9 lbs 6.5 oz was good enough for a fifth place finish and a calcutta bonus that helped ease the lacking fifth fish pain.		Sixth Place: Jin Nguyen and Dave Biscari managed three nice keepers @ 9 lbs 4.5 oz.

DAY 1 BIG BASS PHOTOS

1st Big Bass and day one weight leaders: David Shaw and son Tyler brought in one of only two limits of fish.  With a total wt. of 16 lbs 8 oz and a 6 lb 9.5 oz anchor fish they walked away with the Shoreline Fiberglass sponsored Big Bass of the day and an almost 2 lb lead over second place total wt.

	Second Big Bass: Rick Wilson and Scott Hand started the day by putting this 6 lb 8 oz monster in the boat early.		Third Big Bass:  Joe Dorcy Jr. and Sr. caught three fish on day 1 @ 10 lbs 5.5 oz good for seventh place total wt.  One of them was a 5 lb 12 oz beauty good for third big bass of the day.
	Fourth Big Bass:  Dave Peacock and Terry McDowell caught 4 fish on day 1 @ 12 lbs 11.5 oz good for fourth place total wt.  One of their fish weighed 5 lbs 5 oz and was good enough for fourth big bass of the day.		Jim Sloan and Jeff Stout with their day 1 keepers which led to a second place finish.

Day 2 Photos

	First Place and Fourth Big Bass:  David and Tyler Shaw were the only team to manage a limit of fish both days of the tournament.  10 bass @ 32 lbs 1 oz bested the rest of the field by over 8 1/2 lbs.  16 lbs 8 oz on day 1 and 15 lbs 9 oz on day 2 was more than anyone else could overcome.  Their 6 lb 9.5 oz was big bass on Sat. and a 4 lb 14.5 oz big fish was fourth place on Sunday.
	Second Place:  Jim Sloan and Jeff Stout consistently caught quality keepers both days just not enough of them.  Seven fish @ 23 lbs 10 oz was over a 3.3 lb average.		Third Place and Third Big Bass:  A slow start on Sat., two fish @ 6 lbs 4oz, didn't discourage these guys.  They went out on the second day and brought in the big bag of the day @ 5 fish 16 lb1.5 oz.   A two day for 7 fish @ 22 lbs 5.5 oz.  A 4 lb 15.5 oz fish on day 2 was also good for third big bass of the day.
	Fourth Place: After a day one, 4 fish 12 lbs 11.5 oz  Dave Peacock and Terry McDowell could only manage two keepers on day 2.  9 lbs for two fish was enough to bring their two day total to 21 lbs 11.5 oz and a fourth place finish.		Big Bass Day 2:  Part of the 9 lb bag on day two was a 6 lb 3 oz big bass of the day.  An additional $500 from Shoreline Fiberglass for big bass of the day put a smile on these guys faces.
	Fifth Place:  Jason Rissler and Wes Willett caught 5 fish @ 14 lbs 12 oz on day one but found fishing a little tougher on Sunday.  Two fish @ 5 lbs 8.5 oz on day two brought their two day total to 20 lbs 4.5 oz.		Sixth Place:  Father and son team Joe Dorcy Sr. and Jr. caught 3 fish @ 10 lbs 5.5 oz on day one and added 4 fish @ 8 lbs 12.5 oz for a two day total of 19 lbs 2 oz and a nice sixth place finish.
	Seventh Place:  Shane Voyles and partner Jeff Hamilton caught 3 fish @ 8 lbs  4.5 oz on day one and added three more on Sunday @ 7 lbs 3 oz.  A two day total of 15 lbs 7.5 oz and a nice payday.		Eighth Place:  Scott Jones and partner Fred Haenisch caught 4 fish @ 8 lbs 3 oz on day one and added 3 fish @ 6 lbs 12 oz on the second day for a two day total of 14 lbs 15 oz.
	Second Big Bass:  Shane Mizer was focused more on quality than quantity especially on day two.  5 lbs 13.5 oz and second big bass of the day wasn't a bad way to finish.

	First Place & Big Bass: Terry McDowell & Dave Peacock brought in the largest bag of fish of the year with 5 fish @ 24 lbs 10 oz almost twice the wt. of second place.  A 7 lb 0.5 oz big bass of the day was a nice addition to their payday.		Second Place & Smithville Marine $Bonus$ Bucks:  Bob Kitterman and George Moreland landed a limit of bass @ 12 lbs 7 oz.  They also received an additional $250 from Smithville Marine for a top 3 finish out of a Smithville Marine purchased boat.
	Third Place: Jed Hawkins and Wayne Berry couldn't get that fifth fish in the boat but 4 fish @ 12 lbs 3 oz and a third place finish isn't bad.		Fourth Place: Shane Voyles and Jeff Hamilton caught a limit @ 12 lbs 1 oz. The streak lives.
	Fifth Place: Jason Fulton and Russell Fisher caught 4 fish @ 10 lbs 13.5 oz and a fifth place finish.		Sixth Place:  Scott Jones and Fred Haenisch collected the last place check with 3 fish @ 7 lbs 12 oz.
	Second Big Bass: Harry Carr and Beetle Bailey brought in a nice 5 lb 14 oz fish for second big of the day.
